The Jack Dickey Memorial Member/Member Tournament
Each July Pinecrest Country Club has enjoyed the men's member/member golf tournament.
This tournament is a legacy of one of Pinecrest's most beloved members, Jack Dickey. Mr.
Dickey believed that the member/member tourney was the greatest testament of what was
the essence of good golf -- how two players bonded together and took on the challenges
of the course with the best skills they could bring. The Pinecrest Member/Member Tournament
was the event Mr. Dickey looked forward to each year and loved the most. An avid golfer and
close friend to many, Mr. Dickey was a three time Club Champion, in 1949, 1950, and 1956.
The Dickey Families want to continue Mr. Dickey's Legacy through their generous support
of the Jack Dickey Memorial Tournament. Since 1994 they have ensured that the companionship
and competition so unique to this tournament has continued, so that each year we present the
trophy in Mr. Dickey's name to the winning team for all the flights.
